Location

The location of this apartment is premium, with easy access to the Museumplein, with the van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum, with the world famous “Nightwatch” now fully restored to its former glory. A short distance in the other direction is the Hermitage Museum and the Heineken brewery for a great day out when visiting. Of course Amsterdam is world famous for its canals, restaurants and bars on all its numerous Squares. One such square is the Leidesplein and here you can enjoy a cold drink on a terrace, a delicious meal or even visit the legendary Paradiso , where everyone from U2 to the Rolling stones have performed. With so many restaurants around, a strong recommendation is “Greetje” on the Peperstraat near Centraal Station. If museums and bars are not your thing then why not visit the world’s only floating flower market on Singel canal, near Muntplein. Amsterdam is also home to the oldest stock exchange in the world and of course no visit here is complete without seeing the Anne Frank house, in the Jordaan district.
